Engagement Specialist (GFS) - 12 months secondment within GFS/OneFinance Services (with an opportunity to extend to 18 months)

You will execute programs to build employee awareness, knowledge, and engagement through thoughtful, innovative and professional communications creating an environment where employees can easily obtain information and key messages that help them perform their best work, connect with colleagues, and deepen their understanding of the company's purpose. In this role you'll work closely with Poland HUB - Finance community and leadership as well as global colleagues to locally develop and tailor communications and engagement activities aligned to corporate strategy and messaging.

Key Responsibilities:
Internal communication
* Developing, implementing, and evaluating a robust communication plan to keep employees informed and updated on internal company affairs.
* Executing timely communication for internal or companywide messaging through effective communication channels such as e-mail, Workplace by Facebook, signage, face-to-face interactions
* Measuring the effectiveness of communication methods used for optimisation and future improvement.
* Keeping up to date on GSK Global news and communications that require cascading to Finance Hub level via a suitable communication channel.
* Overseeing effective development, cascade, and dialogue/feedback on internal communication
* Create, review, advise, and update culture procedure policies relevant to culture building, employer branding, employee engagement, and employee communications.

Employee Engagement
* Lead and oversee the Finance Hub-Europe employee engagement plan
* Organize & execute Finance Hub town halls and events
* Lead and guide the employee resource groups in delivering culture-building activities to bring the Hub community together
* Organise and deliver CSR activities as part of an engagement event
* Strengthening employer branding externally which includes planning and gathering information for external recognition and awards
* Ensuring all communication and engagement plans follow industry standards, internal policies, and best practises
* Track and record engagement and branding expenditures
* Create impactful storytelling video compilation and other digital content for Hub activities (pre- and post-event)
* Work in partnership with other GSK's Subject matter experts, communication specialists, Global capability & engagement lead locally & in other countries and in particular with the Poland Global HUB.

Basic Qualifications:
* University graduate
* Exceptional written and verbal communications skills and creativity
* Experience in managing a portfolio of engagement activities across a broad range of areas
* Experience of working in a matrix organisation, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements
* Experience in creating and executing communication and engagement plans that support business objectives and increase employee engagement
* Resourceful in gathering information from global and local resources including government agencies
* Good knowledge of contemporary digital communications and social media best practises
* Excellent organisational and project planning and execution skills
* Experience building strong relationships and influencing business leaders and peers (Stakeholder management)
* Strong partnering skills Humility and willingness to receive and respond to feedback
* Able to grasp and champion GSK purpose, strategy, and culture
* Experience with organisational change management, diversity, and inclusion management
* Experience working for multinational organisations would be a plus
* Project management skills will be a plus

#LI-GSKThe annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 113,250 to PLN 188,750 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer's discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave. More detailed information on the total reward package applicable to your role will be supplied during the recruitment process.
