What's the role
As a Business Operations Analyst (internally referred to as Operations Executive), you will be part of the EUAF Operations Support team based in Kraków. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting Aviation Operations across Canada and France, ensuring the smooth delivery of services across more than 25 airports. You will work closely with Regional Operations Managers, Country Operations teams, Engineers, HSSE, and internal functions such as Finance, Procurement, and IT, acting as a vital link between operations, finance, and commercial stakeholders while driving efficient, data-informed processes.
You will be part of Shell Aviation (SAV), which operates one of the world's most extensive refuelling networks. Supplying jet fuel, aviation gasoline, lubricants, sustainable aviation fuel, and digital solutions to the global aviation industry, SAV supports customers ranging from private pilots to major airlines. Our operations refuel an aircraft approximately every 14 seconds, delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality products and services worldwide.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will combine operational coordination, financial process ownership, and stakeholder engagement, with an increasing focus on process optimisation and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
* Owning and coordinating end-to-end operational processes, including purchase orders (RtP), invoicing workflows, and payment tracking.
* Partnering with internal and external stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Procurement, vendors, and airport partners) to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitoring and analysing operational and financial data, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Driving process improvements, simplification, and digitalisation initiatives across the region.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to frontline teams and business partners on operational and system-related matters.
* Ensuring compliance and audit readiness through consistent adherence to policies, controls, and procedures.
What you bring
* Fluent in English with a strong working knowledge of French
* Substantial experience in sales operations, customer operations, or stakeholder management
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies
* Strong analytical mindset, with hands-on experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
* Experience working in process-driven environments such as finance, operations, or supply chain
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment
* Continuous improvement mindset; familiarity with Lean or process optimisation methodologies is an advantage
* Experience with RtP, invoicing processes, or SAP (GSAP) is a plus
* Exposure to aviation, logistics, or energy sectors is advantageous
* Basic understanding of compliance topics (e.g., VAT, customs, contracts) is a plus
* Amenable to a hybrid working arrangement, including mid-shift schedules (14:00-20:00) two days per week

Since your duties require regular use of French language you will be entitled to a language bonus of 2 000 PLN gross monthly.
Employees working in a shift system are entitled to extra pay of 30% of their daily base salary for each day of work on the afternoon shift.
