Job Description:

Join us in this role where you'll have the responsibility and opportunity to develop solutions support the design of electrical systems of wind farm installations. You'll develop, support, and maintain applications for our platforms to support our digital transformation.

Welcome to Software Engineering 1 Competency Centre

You'll be part of our IT Competence Centre where you, together with your colleagues, will develop IT applications. You'll work with people from different areas of expertise, incl. product owners, scrum masters, application architects, and testers. Together, you'll develop custom applications to support wind farm operations. As a team, we create a friendly work environment where you can grow your competencies and maintain a healthy work-life balance which is essential for us.

You'll play an important role in:

* being a leader for your scrum team

* setting direction for your scrum team by guiding developers with vision ownership in developing solutions for scale, resiliency, localisation on a global scale, and frequent releases

* producing and implementing best practices with focus on innovation by developing code alongside developers, understanding root causes, and producing lessons learned

* mentoring senior developers to allow for skill and knowledge development through advice

* performing governance within team ensuring team compliance to development guide and procedure.

To succeed in the role, you:

* have excellent programming proficiency in Python, with practical knowledge about Python scientific computing libraries, like Numpy or Scipy

* have a good understanding of Angular and experience with implementing designs prepared by UX experts

* have practical knowledge of Git, DevOps practices, and reliability practices

* have good knowledge of design patterns, good practices, object-oriented design, and clean code

* are proactive with strong analytical skills, lead other developers by example and support requirements coming from business stakeholders.
