Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank's technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.
The team is made up of enthusiastic professionals who work in an international environment, learning new technologies as part of Deutsche Bank's businesses.

Responsibilities:
* Understand the SDLC process and controls (policies);
* Design/Implement automated CI/CD pipelines to satisfy and close the SDLC Controls;
* Partner with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot complex issues across the application stack, from the OS and database through to the application server;
* Manage and troubleshoot critical integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between applications via IBM MQ and persistent storage in the Oracle Database;
* Provide technical support to development teams, guiding them on best practices for building and deploying applications on the target platform;
* Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, deployment runbooks, and scripts for our core application platforms;

Skills:
* A Bachelor of Science or Master degree with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline;
* Deep technical skills in at least one core language environment (e.g. Java, Javascript (NodeJS/TypeScript), Python, Shell scripting, etc);
* Experience in automation tools and platforms such as BitBucket, TeamCity/Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub Actions;
* Working knowledge and practical experience with IBM MQ / dbusMQ for enterprise messaging;
* Hands-on experience administering Oracle WebLogic Server environments;
* Proven ability to operate effectively within a structured Change Management environment;
* Experience with Oracle databases, including an ability to write and analyze SQL queries;
* Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers) as they relate to the application stack;
* Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of project team;
* Prioritizes and manages time to deliver on commitments;
* Multiple languages preferred (English is mandatory, German is a plus);
* Experience working in an international environment.

Nice to have:
* Experience with GCP;
* Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., Splunk, NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana).
* Experience in the financial services sector.
