About the job

We are now looking for a Tax Reporting Specialist to join our team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. Working in close collaboration with regional tax teams and the local business, you will take ownership of the tax agenda for the Czech and Slovak entities. Your role will primarily focus on direct taxes, while also covering VAT review and advisory. You will ensure full compliance with local regulations and group policies, acting as a key tax advisor to the business.

YOUR responsibilities as a Tax Reporting Specialist will include (but not limited to):
* Manage Corporate Income Tax (CIT) end-to-end for CZ and SK entities (tax computation, returns, audit support)
* Manage Withholding Tax (WHT) agenda
* Reviewing and submitting VAT declarations prepared by VAT
* Manage excise duty (sugar tax) and tax from financial transactions in SK
* Submission of tax returns and managing tax accounts
* Provide tax advisory to local business and finance teams
* Act as main contact person for tax authorities
* Support on tax matters to statutory audit
* Monitor tax legislation changes and assess impact
* Participate in group tax reporting, transfer pricing documentation and internal tax projects
* Identify and mitigate tax risks and support process improvements

We are looking for a Tax Reporting Specialist with the following profile:

* A University degree in Accounting or Finance
* At least 5 year of experience in corporate taxation, with focus on direct taxes
* Good knowledge of local tax legislation (CIT, VAT, WHT)
* Communicative level of English and Czech/Slovak is a must
* Knowledge of accounting regulations is a plus
* Knowledge of MS Office (VBA is a plus)
* Accounting ERP Systems knowledge (SAP would be a big plus)
* Knowledge of Power BI, AI solutions, RPA is a plus
* Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Problem-solving mindset with ability to influence different stakeholders
