The Junior Business Analyst supports Banking Operations in the transformation programme driven by the implementation of a new core banking platform. Focusing on securities processing, particularly in trade settlement and corporate actions, the role contributes to defining future-state processes, analysing impacts, validating data, and preparing operational teams for change. Close collaboration with local subject matter experts and international project teams is essential to ensure a smooth transition.

YOUR CHALLENGE

* Elicit, document and structure business requirements in cooperation with Operations stakeholders
* Analyse and map current and future-state processes within securities processing, with emphasis on trade settlement and corporate actions
* Assess operational impact of system and process changes across asset classes
* Contribute to the design of test scenarios and support end-to-end testing activities
* Extract, validate and interpret data to support solution design and decision-making
* Prepare procedural documentation, user guides and training materials for Operations teams
* Support data quality initiatives and coordinate clean-up activities ahead of migration

YOUR PROFILE

* Completed apprenticeship in banking and/or higher education with focus in banking
* Experience in a business analyst or coordination role within banking operations
* Strong interest in process analysis, digital transformation and change enablement
* Solid skills in database querying or data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Power BI)
* Understanding of post-trade securities operations, particularly in trade settlement and corporate actions processing across equities, fixed income, funds and derivatives
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Independent way of working combined with a solution-driven attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
* Fluent in English; working knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory
