IT CMDB Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and sustainability of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), which is a critical component of IT Service Management.

What you can expect:

* Ensuring the CMDB is accurate, up to date, and complete
* Maintaining the quality, consistency, and integrity of configuration item (CI) data
* Designing and improving automated data collection and update processes
* Performing data reconciliation to identify and resolve inconsistencies within the CMDB
* Ensuring CMDB compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
* Defining and enforcing CMDB processes, policies, and usage standards
* Conducting regular data quality audits and preparing compliance and operational reports
* Managing and continuously improving CMDB structure, data model, and processes
* Working closely with cross-functional IT teams to ensure accurate CI relationships and data flow
* Acting as a governance authority for CMDB data accuracy, validation, access control, and quality standards

Your profile:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
* 5 + years of experience in CMDB, ITSM, or Configuration Management roles
* Solid knowledge of the ITIL Framework, particularly Configuration Management
* Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB or similar ITSM tools
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, map, and document complex IT systems and CI relationships
* High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality
* Ability to work collaboratively with multiple IT teams and stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
