We are hiring a Site Supervisor (Mechanical/Electrical) to start asap to work on this critical infrastructure project. We are looking for a safety-first leader to oversee mechanical and electrical construction activities on-site and support delivery of a high-quality, sustainable facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety Leadership: Demonstrate leadership and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ). Actively encourage and lead site and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements.
* Risk Control: Ensure risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed against HSE requirements, and that all work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS. * Subcontractor Management: Co-operate with erection contractors and co-ordinate consortium partners and sub-contractors to ensure works are executed in accordance with the contract, on time and within budget.
* Commercial & Reporting: Progress change requests (technical, time and cost), and prepare and follow up deviations and claims.
* Continuous Improvement: Deliver lessons learned and feedback for current and future projects, and follow up to ensure timely closure of contractor punch items.
* Communication: Keep the Site Manager informed of all site-related activities at all times.

Note: This is a non-exhaustive list of duties. The successful candidate may be required to undertake other responsibilities as reasonably requested by site management to ensure project success

Candidate Requirements:

* Educational Background: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
* Industry Experience: Proven experience as a Supervisor in the construction of large industrial plant, with experience co-ordinating contracts and contractors on site.
* HSEQ Leadership: Experience leading HSEQ on site, with working knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements.
* Technical Standards: Knowledge of relevant international and national technical standards, including awareness of directives such as the Pressure Equipment Directive, Machinery Directive and ATEX (as applicable to the role).
* Safety Certifications: Must hold Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), a valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), or equivalent.
