The project: EDF are managing the UK's Nuclear New Build Programme through the construction of Nuclear Power Stations at Hinkley Point 'C' in Somerset and Sizewell 'C' in Suffolk.
The RAN area planner is a key role within the Integrated Planning team which encompasses Design, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Construction and Commissioning for the Civils, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Instrumentation and Controls Scope of Work for HPC.
You'll be responsible for:
* Managing integrated area planning across all levels.
* Maintaining logic-linked schedules aligned to WBS.
* Assessing risks and opportunities using evidence-led insight.
* Challenging delivery performance to support strategic outcomes.
* Delivering timely, accurate reporting to stakeholders.
* Driving baseline strategy and sequencing improvements.
* Integrating supply chain plans and data effectively.
* Ensuring compliance with scheduling, change and information governance standards.
You'll need to have:
* Delivering clear, data-driven insights to inform decisions and manage planning outcomes effectively.
* Strong analytical thinking, risk awareness and understanding of project controls disciplines.
* Expert in planning tools (Primavera P6, Synchro, Acumen) and digital platforms.
* Collaborative communicator, simplifying complex concepts for diverse stakeholders across projects.
