Job Description:

Regional Fire Safety Lead - Build your next chapter with IHG.

We're growing our Safety & Security team and are looking for a Regional Fire Safety Lead to support our Europe, Middle East and Africa region. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative and globally connected team, where fire safety plays a key role in delivering safe, high-quality guest experiences.

You'll support the delivery of practical, risk-based fire safety solutions across a diverse range of properties, from new developments to existing hotels, helping ensure fire safety is applied consistently and effectively.

Reporting to the Global Director for Brand Safety Standards, you'll help translate fire safety principles into actionable guidance that hotel teams can apply in real-world situations.

What you'll be doing
* Supporting the delivery of fire safety initiatives across the region
* Working with colleagues in other regions to contribute to a consistent global approach
* Partnering with teams including design, development, and hotel operations - helping them make clear, confident fire safety decisions.
* Creating tools and training that make fire safety accessible and practical for hotel teams
* Supporting incident reviews, helping us learn, adapt, and continually raise our standards.
* Providing fire safety input and supporting due diligence on new properties to assess fire safety risks.

What we're looking for
* Relevant qualifications in Fire Safety or Fire Engineering, or equivalent professional experience in the field
* Experience in fire safety systems, design, or programme delivery
* An understanding of risk, compliance and assurance principles
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly
* A practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Exposure to property, hospitality, or multi-site environments is beneficial, but not essential

Why join us?
This is an opportunity to build your experience working across a varied portfolio. You'll gain exposure to both new developments and operational challenges, working with a wide range of teams across the business.

Closing date for applications Friday 19th June 2026
