Title and Summary
Data Scientist II
Overview
Our Analytics team turns complex data into insight that drives business decisions across the North America and Latin America regions. We partner closely with business and finance stakeholders to measure performance, understand consumer behavior, and inform strategy at every level of the organization.
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career analyst to grow their craft in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Director of Analytics, you'll support modeling, reporting, and KPI tracking work while learning from experienced colleagues and contributing directly to deliverables that reach senior leadership.
Are you energized by working with data to solve real business problems? Do you want to build a strong analytical foundation while making a visible impact? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
Role
Support the design, build, and validation of statistical and machine learning models that answer business questions such as consumer behavior, segmentation, and forecasting.
Help maintain recurring reporting and KPI tracking - contributing to metric definitions, building data pipelines, and ensuring the numbers leadership relies on are accurate and timely.
Translate scoped requests from business and finance partners into clean analyses, and help communicate results back as clear recommendations.
Build and maintain dashboards and reusable tooling that make insight accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-regional teams to support consistent data definitions and measurement across markets.
Contribute to quarterly business reviews and other stakeholder-facing deliverables.
Continuously develop your technical and analytical skills with support and mentorship from the team.
All About You
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar), or equivalent experience.
Foundational proficiency in SQL and Python (or R), including common data libraries such as pandas; internship, academic project, or early professional experience welcome.
Solid grounding in core statistics and machine learning concepts.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to work with messy, real-world data end to end.
Ability to communicate findings clearly and a desire to grow comfort presenting to broader audiences.
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
Exposure to consumer analytics, financial services, or payments is a plus.
Familiarity with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
