As a Fitter Journeyman here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will apply your technical skills to support building automation projects, ensuring that all fittings and installations meet quality and regulatory standards.

You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you'll work out our Augusta, ME location on a Hybrid/Remote work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful implementation and maintenance of building automation systems, contributing to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of facilities managed by Honeywell Building Automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components and systems related to building automation.
* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate fitting and installation.
* Collaborate with engineering and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.

The annual base salary range for this position is $64,400.00 - $83,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
* 2 years minimum of mechanical field service experience
* Proven experience in mechanical fitting and installation within building systems or related fields.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and safety standards applicable to building automation installations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Experience with troubleshooting mechanical systems and performing preventative maintenance.
* Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to mechanical installations in commercial buildings.

* Journeyman Oil Burner License (Class IV)
* Solid Fuel License
* Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or journeyman certification in mechanical fitting or related trade.
* Experience working in building automation or HVAC systems installation and maintenance.
