Job Description:
STEP Linehaul Forecasting team within EU Trans S&OP organization is looking for a customer focused, analytically and technically skilled Inventory Planner/Program Manager to join our team. Within this role, you will be responsible for driving change and improvements across the organization whilst always thinking about the bigger picture. You are pioneering new ways of thinking to deliver our mission for optimized customer speed and delivery accuracy, at the planned cost. Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, you will continuously be scoping out new solutions for ambiguous challenges. You will conduct your own research and analysis, always with an eye on the long-term vision of the business and the maximization of our customer experience. Key job responsibilities
* Play a key role in planning and executing weekly, and high volume events Linehaul Forecast publication ensuring we deliver a plan which optimizes for CX metrics (Speed, Cost, DEA)
* Create innovative solutions using data and analysis to address wider challenges in your organization; liaise with stakeholders across the entire Amazon operations business to implement these solutions
* Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, create processes for driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations
* Work alongside leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, taking the lead in delivering them from start to finish and frequently reporting on the program status
* Challenge the status quo on the outbound transportation and supply chain processes together with partner teams to create an end-to-end aligned forecasting signal
A day in the life
You will lead publication the forecasting plan, form lessons learned to improve, and then apply those learning's to optimize processes for the future. You'll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network. You'll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you'll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects. You will spend time assisting with a plan for a busy period including HVEs.
About the team
The team specializes in Linehaul Forecasting across horizons; serving as a single source of truth for truck planning .The team has a Program Management lean to drive excellence in outbound operations planning
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in process improvement
- Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
