V.I.E. Middle - Office Credits and Guarentees

Responsibilities

We are looking for a V.I.E. to join the Middle-Office Credits and Guarantees service. The department is responsible for setting up and managing loans for private and corporate customers, as well as bank guarantees.

The future V.I.E. will be in charge of the legal documentation based on templates. He/she will contribute to process improvement in a secure environment with controlled operational risks.

Main responsibilites will include:

* Write contracts based on templates
* Handle various letters related to loan contracts (guarantees, mortgages, hands raised, redemptions or arbitrations on life insurance contracts, etc.)
* Perform administrative validation of credit files.
* Lift reservations issued before and after signing contracts.
* Ensure monitoring of constraints set in contracts
* Create envelopes and slices in the Calypso management tool
* Perform daily processing of due dates, unpaid debts and operational disputes
* Processes disbursements
* Perform the calculation of interest statements on contentious files
* Identify risks inherent to operations, sensitive processes and undertakes the necessary actions to control them
* Ensure first level Permanent Surveillance for each operation carried out
* Develop and distribute activity monitoring tables

Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

* Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Credit
* A previous experience in Credit File writing would be appreciated

Language skills:

* Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

* Proficient/Good command of MS Office
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Strong listening and analytical skills
* Proactivity, spearheading of proposals

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
