Job Description:

Let me tell you about the role

Customer & Channel marketing Lead develop, implement and supervise marketing programs and offers of all channels - we call them DIFM Channels - (Franchised Workshop dealers, Independent workshop dealers, Quick Lubes) and DIY channels (Retailers and Auto Accounts) in order to effectively market to our customers and to promote our products and services, creating plans for growing market share.

As the Customer & Channel Marketing Lead / Specialist, you will oversee the development of digital assets, channel content and customer toolkits, demonstrating global content and using the Hub. Your role will involve gathering customer needs, developing winning local strategy, collecting and analysing market insights, ensuring they inform local plans and strategy thatcan be fed back into NoEs. Working with the hub, you will lead the execution of marketing programs and offers of all channels activities and enable channel partners to deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience.

What will you deliver
* Collate and analyse local market intelligence to identify customer growth opportunities and share insights with local and global teams.
* In close collaboration with the Hub and agency partners, adapt digital assets if applicable, if not applicable work with NOEs and hub to develop the material needed, CRM journeys, loyalty programs, and web/chat tools, ensuring alignment with technical and compliance requirements.
* Support the engagement of local sponsors, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), partners and affiliates involved in delivering the customer experience.
* Ensure team is up to date on trends and changes in customer channels, such as eCommerce, to enhance marketing effectiveness.
* Responsible for meeting or exceeding defined campaign metrics. Increase Hub utilisation, asset and content re-use, and the fulfilment of SLAs year-on-year.
* Promotion Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement high-impact promotions that are engaging and centred around digital platforms, driving customer interaction and brand loyalty.
* Digital Integration: Ensure all promotions and campaigns are digital-first, incorporating the latest technology trends and tools for enhanced user engagement and measurement.
* Sponsorship Leverage: Identify and manage sponsorship customer activation opportunities that align with brand objectives and bring value for customers and sales.
* B2B Brand communications design communication strategy and materials that will resonate with our customers, highlighting why Castrol. This communication needs to consider global content and brand and comms master brand campaign.
* Interested party Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal (sales and global) and external (customers/distributors) partners to increase the impact of promotional activities, partnerships and Castrol programs in general. Visits customers to ensure relationship building, feedback on offers, proper communication and key learning's are improved. Participates in key national/regional meetings to support the field sales organization. Incorporates insight/feedback from key customers and sales personnel to improve our business strategy.
* Performance Tracking: Set indicators and analyze the success of promotions and sponsorship initiatives, using insights to refine future strategies.
Budget Management: Oversee budgets related to promotions and sponsorships, ensuring cost-effective and impactful delivery of activities.

What you will need to be successful
* (Lead) / (Specialist) years of experience in customer and channel marketing, with a focus on campaign execution and optimisation, preferably in a multi-national matrix organisation.
* Experience in large scale customer-centric initiatives, preferably in fast-changing industries.
* Good analytical skills to track performance and identify actionable insights.
* Knowledge of digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
* Collaboration and communication skills to support team initiatives and align with partners.
* Proactive attitude with an eagerness to stay ahead of trends in customer experience and marketing channels.

You will work with
* Your role is part of our regional marketing teams, which is made up of a diverse and skilled team of marketers, working together to activate brand and customer experience and drive performance in-market.
* You will work with the Hub, sales and other teams within your market to implement your plans and optimise activity.
* From time to time, you will engage closely with sponsors, partners, agencies, and SMEs, fostering relationships to deliver impactful outcomes for your customers in your market.
* When required, you will work closely with CX and CRM specialists, ensuring alignment in execution and activation efforts.
