The Position

At Roche, we advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love. The Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) at Roche Diagnostics Denmark will lead serves as a key business partner to the commercial organization. As the FEP Lead, you will act as a trusted thought partner across the entire value chain, leveraging your financial expertise and deep business understanding to drive strategies that deliver value for our customers, the affiliate, and the wider enterprise.
In this pivotal role, where you will be reporting to Head of Finance and Operation, Roche Diagnostics Denmark - will have a team of specialists and experts, specifically overseeing a team of FEPs and Finance Excellence Partners (FxPs), while also holding dotted-line management responsibility for the Tender Manager.

Your Impact

Leadership & Team Management
* Leads a team of specialists/experts, adapting plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
* Role models the role of a leader as visionary, architect, catalyst and coach (VACC) and lives the Roche operating principles.
* Creates a psychologically safe environment and culture necessary for the team to be successful.
* Supports network building across the organization (including the Finance Excellence Partner) to share best practices and co-create solutions.
* Empowers decision-making at the lowest level, enabling team members to come up with innovative designs and solutions.
Tender Management & Commercial Strategy
* Architects robust process and financial rigor into tenders, acting as a dotted-line manager to the Tender Manager to ensure highly competitive and profitable bids.
* Playsan active part in ensuring sustainable commercial deals by considering risk evaluation, competitor assumptions and implementing sustainable pricing strategies.
* Serves as a key partner for developing a coherent affiliate commercial strategy and commercial business related processes such as business planning and opportunity prioritization.
* Supports the business and customers in co-creating new business models, quantifying value, and providing pricing transparency.

Financial & Operational Rigor
* Acts as a key guide for P&L and financial target achievement. This involves close monitoring of the numbers, from top-line to bottom-line, and providing direction on accounting implications.
* Proposes and drive ideas for P&L improvement, especially upsell opportunities, efficiency/waste improvement, and risk reduction.
* Solves problems autonomously with minimal guidance.
* Balances resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activities.
* Ensures financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advise on deviations and corrective actions.
* Monitors and manages customer performance over the whole contract life cycle with a profitability and outcomes based perspective.

What You Bring
* Experience in leading, developing and coaching individuals in a team.
* An entrepreneurial, commercial, and customer-centric mindset with an ability to put all available financial and operational information into a holistic picture.
* An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to be able to guide the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow implications of decisions for the sales affiliate
* Strong business and financial acumen, coupled with experience partnering with stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Excellent negotiation skills with an ability to support successful win-win outcomes.
* The ability to act as a "systems thinker" understanding downstream and upstream impacts across the ecosystem.
* A proven ability to navigate a complex, challenging environment based on agile principles.
* A university degree in business administration, accounting or finance and preferably coupled with an MBA, or Masters in Accounting / Finance
* Fluency in written and spoken English.
