Manager, Systems Analysis
Overview
The Global Business Services Center Financial Systems team acts as trusted consultants supporting the Shared Services Organization and Mastercard business owners by delivering application expertise, project execution, and end user support across critical financial systems. The team is composed of strong individual contributors and leaders who bring a consulting mindset, deep functional expertise, and the ability to independently drive outcomes while influencing stakeholders in a fast paced, global environment.
This Business Analyst position is responsible for partnering closely with Accounting and Finance stakeholders while also serving as a key liaison to technical teams to deliver scalable, high quality solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, the ability to manage and develop direct reports, and a high degree of ownership in driving work forward. Success in this role requires strong functional accounting knowledge, technical aptitude, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements. This individual will play a critical leadership role in Mastercard's transformation journey, including the migration from Oracle E-Business Suite to Cloud Financials, requiring experience in large-scale system implementations, change management, and the ability to lead teams through ambiguity and transformation.
Key expectations include:
* Leading and developing a team of Business Analysts, providing coaching, direction, and clear prioritization across competing initiatives
* Operating with a high degree of independence; proactively identifying issues, determining solutions, and driving outcomes without reliance on defined playbooks
* Partnering with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to understand requirements, influence process design, and drive standardization and automation
* Acting as a strategic liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear translation of requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions
* Applying SQL and data analysis skills to support issue resolution, reconciliation, validation, and insight generation
* Driving and supporting transformation initiatives, including the EBS to Cloud Financials migration, across requirements, testing, data validation, and business readiness
* Leading prioritization and time management across both individual and team deliverables in a dynamic, high demand environment
Purpose of the Team
The Financial Systems team enables business and technology transformation by supporting core Oracle Financials applications and driving continuous improvement across financial processes and systems. As Mastercard advances its migration from EBS to Cloud, the team plays a critical role in ensuring business continuity, data integrity, and successful adoption of future state processes. Team members are expected to operate as leaders in their space-demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to influence outcomes across business and technology organizations.
Core focus areas include:
* Enabling finance transformation through system modernization, process redesign, and adoption of cloud-based financial platforms
* Supporting and optimizing Oracle Financials and related boundary systems, while preparing for future-state capabilities in Fusion
* Driving automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across Accounting and Finance processes
* Strengthening partnership between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery
* Maintaining strong controls, data integrity, and audit readiness throughout both ongoing operations and transformation initiatives

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
