What you are going to do
As a Process Standardization and Harmonization Specialist at NN you will play a key role in driving the standardization and optimization of business processes across multiple countries. With a focus on enhancing efficiency and ensuring consistency, the successful candidate will lead initiatives to streamline operations and align them with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborating closely with stakeholders from various departments and regions, the Process Standardization and Harmonization Specialist will leverage their expertise in process management to design, document, and implement standardized procedures while identifying opportunities for automation and improvement.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of insurance business processes and a proven track record in process optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, coupled with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Key activities
* Develop and implement strategies for cross-country process standardization and optimization
* Design and document standardized business processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
* Lead process mapping workshops and facilitate discussions to gather requirements and gain insights from key stakeholders
* Analyse existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements and automation
* Develop business cases and proposals for process improvement initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of standardized processes, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure continuous improvement

We offer this job fully remote as a virtual assignment for 1 to 3 years. As part of this role, you will have an employment contract under the local collective labour agreement (CLA) from one of the 11 countries where NN operates. This means you can apply for the job if you reside in one of the countries where NN is located (Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Japan). Once we know from which country you will perform the job, we will be able to inform you better about the local employee benefits.

Who you are
You have a strong understanding of life insurance and pensions, with the capacity to extend principles to non-life insurance as needed. You are experienced with process modeling tools and methodologies (BPMN 2.0, MS Visio or similar). You have solid knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
* Proven experience (7+ years) in business process management and optimization
* Fluent/Advanced English is a must
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Process-oriented thinker with an interest in digital innovation and the efficiency of insurance operations

Who you will work with
You will join the Advisory Management workstream, with a focus on optimizing our Tied Agent distribution. This workstream is dedicated to implementing a state-of-the-art management model, tools, and technology to digitize processes and enhance agent capabilities with an AI-enabled virtual personal assistant. By optimizing our Tied Agent distribution, we aim to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution channels, driving growth and increasing sales. You will:
* Work with diverse teams within NN International, all business units in International
* Partner with key business stakeholders in Insurance International
* External partners and collaborators

This job is a virtual assignment which means you will fully work from home. You will travel regularly to meet your team. This means that the willingness to travel is important for this job position.
