Your Task
This role involves providing support to application administrators in 2nd level operation tasks of various business, client-specific Unix server-side applications. The position requires understanding and applying ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) throughout the application support lifecycle, while maintaining professional contact with the customer's IT specialists. This position includes 24/7 coverage responsibilities, where the trainee would contribute to continuous presence and may take on night shifts.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to application administrators in the 2nd level operation tasks of various business, client-specific Unix server-side applications
* Complete planning, monitoring and coordination of application version changes, migrations, operating systems and hardware changes
* Coordinate, plan, implement and manage various customer requirements
* Understand and apply ITIL (Incident, Change, Problem Management) processes throughout the application support lifecycle
* Maintain professional contact with the customer's IT specialists
* Provide 24/7 coverage by contributing to continuous presence, including taking on night shifts to reduce the risk of overload
* Bring fresh approaches, new ideas and perspectives into the processes
Requerimientos del candidato/a:
Your Profile
We are looking for a motivated IT Intern with ongoing IT studies, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a 24/7 application support environment.
Must Have Skills
* Ongoing IT studies with active (or passive) full-time student relationship
* Commitment to at least 20 hours per week
* At least intermediate level of active, negotiable German language skills
* Basic level of English language skills
* Very good communication skills
* Very good work organization skills
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work in groups
Nice to Have Skills
* Theoretical knowledge of different server/client/network architectures and components
* Knowledge of Middleware (Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, JBOSS, Apache)
* Experience in ticketing systems
* Knowledge of ITIL processes
