SAP Technical Consultant (ABAP / S/4HANA)

We are looking for a skilled SAP Technical Consultant with strong ABAP expertise to support development and integration activities within an SAP S/4HANA landscape.
The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable technical solutions across logistics and finance processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system architecture.
You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and integration teams to deliver high-quality SAP developments.

Key Responsibilities
* ABAP Development & Enhancements
* Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP in an S/4HANA environment
* Implement enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and data conversions
* Extend standard SAP functionality using exits, BADIs, and custom frameworks
* Technical Design & Solutioning
* Translate functional specifications into technical design documents
* Ensure scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions aligned with SAP standards
* S/4HANA & HANA Optimization
* Develop solutions optimized for SAP HANA database (performance, data models, CDS views)
* Troubleshoot and resolve performance or runtime issues using standard tools (trace, debugging)
* Cross-Module Development Support
* Contribute to developments across core SAP modules such as:
* Warranty
* Logistics (e.g., SD)
* Finance (FI/CO)
* Support specialized components or extensions when applicable (e.g., warranty, vehicle management, rule frameworks)
* UI & Backend Development
* Support backend logic and applications using ABAP and WebDynpro
* Contribute to UI or service-based integrations where needed
* Integration & Interfaces
* Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and APIs
* Support integration with external or adjacent systems
* Testing & Defect Resolution
* Support unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution
* Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business expectations
* Collaboration with Functional Teams
* Work closely with functional consultants to clarify requirements and ensure correct technical implementation

Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
* Experience working on SAP S/4HANA platform and HANA DB
* Good understanding of SAP data models and performance optimization
* Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
* Ability to work with functional specifications and convert them into technical solutions
Nice-to-Have
* Experience with:
* Reports (ALV), forms (SmartForms/Adobe), interfaces (IDoc/BAPI)
* Enhancements (user exits, BADIs)
* Exposure to core SAP modules like Logistics (SD) and Finance (FI/CO)
* S/4HANA advanced concepts (CDS views, OData, AMDP)
* Rule frameworks (e.g., BRF+)
* Industry-specific add-ons (e.g., warranty, vehicle management)
* Experience in rollouts, upgrades, or transformation projects
