Within the GCAP Joint Venture, in the GCAP Technical Leadership UO, we are looking for a Agile Delivery Specialist for GCAP HQ in Reading (UK).

The Agile Lead is responsible for enabling the effective delivery of secure, high-quality digital platform capabilities by embedding Agile principles, practices, and ways of working across cross-functional teams.

Operating within the Secure Digital Platform Team, the role focuses on driving flow, predictability, and continuous improvement while ensuring delivery aligns with security, compliance, and governance expectations.

The Agile Delivery Specialist @R acts as a servant leader and coach, facilitating collaboration between engineering, security, product, and stakeholder groups, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.

Key Accountabilities
* Lead and embed Agile delivery practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban or hybrid models) to enable predictable, value-driven delivery within secure digital platform environments.
* Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, roles, ceremonies, and artefacts, promoting continuous improvement and team maturity.
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring they are effective, outcome-focused, and value-driven.
* Identify, manage, and remove delivery impediments, escalating risks and dependencies where required.
* Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and Security stakeholders to align delivery priorities with platform, security, and business objectives.
* Ensure delivery activities align with organisational governance, risk, and security requirements, including compliance with minimum security clearance constraints where applicable.
* Track, analyse, and communicate delivery metrics and insights to support transparency, forecasting, and informed decision-making.
* Contribute to the evolution of Agile standards, tooling, and ways of working across the Secure Digital Platform landscape.

Qualifications
* Relevant professional qualification or certification in Agile delivery (e.g. Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or equivalent).
* Formal education in a relevant discipline (e.g. technology, engineering, business, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.

Skills and Experience
* Proven experience leading Agile delivery within complex digital or platform-based environments.
* Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and techniques, with the ability to pragmatically adapt them to context.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, architecture, and product disciplines.
* Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and impediments in environments with governance, compliance, or security constraints.
* Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at multiple organisational levels.
