Job Description:

Provide engineering functional excellence (focus HW engineering, specifically on Electronics topics) to successfully support engineering projects execution (during complete product lifecycle): Supports the team on product-HW-System topics. Supports relevant tasks as assigned by the functional experts.

* Acts as an interface for Hardware (electronics) technical clarification within internal and external stakeholders
* Define test plan according to technical requirements and regulations (internal and external)
* Review product validation results, including interpretation of thermal, parametric and EMC
* Active participation in electronic design reviews; Project and Safety relevant documentation e.g. FMEA, DRBFM (could be "lead" for higher bands)
* Problem solving and technical consulting with all product related domains (SW, Mech, Systems)
* Support ECU change management and documentation
* Selection of components and compatibility analysis for both development and PCN/PTN. (if applicable)
* Elaborate Risk assessments for component deviations (if applicable)
* Perform design verification, setup and perform of parameter testing (if applicable)
* Main point of contact for intermediate complexity projects for HW-System requirements (Including translation of Customer Requirements specification to Systems Requirements Specifications) (If applicable)
* Power consumption analysis and power management optimization
* Circuit design and simulation (initiate calculations, simulations, consideration of electrical tolerances on the electrical strength, current carrying capacity, nominal power, efficiency)
* Develop circuit modules and integrate them with the associated circuit diagrams, test specifications and documentation, into the overall hardware design.

Qualifications:

* Language Required: English C1
* Availability to travel: Yes
* Professional Experience (years) : 3-5 years
* Requirements (Doors, Polarion, etc.)
* Circuit Design Analysis & Simulation
* Circuit Design Tools (Altium, Zuken, Matlab, LTSpice, Eagle, etc.)
* Knowledge of Communication Protocols and Tools (e.g. CANoe, SPI, LIN, etc.)
* Knowledge of Electrical Components (Diodes, Mosfets, Capacitors, etc.)
* HW Engineering Testing & Handling Laboratory Equipment
* Knowledge on full life cycle hardware development
