Salary: £45,000 depending on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert guidance and end-to-end case management support across a diverse and complex organisation. In this role, you will deliver pragmatic, legally compliant advice to line managers on a wide range of sensitive employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes aligned to company policy and values. You will build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including HR colleagues, Trade Union representatives and external advisors, while confidently coaching and influencing managers to strengthen their capability. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement of ER practices within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Core duties:
* Provide expert coaching, advice and case management support to line managers on complex and sensitive employee relations matters across Head Office, Digital Intelligence and Shared Services in the UK
* Deliver balanced, pragmatic guidance that is legally compliant and aligned to company policy, supporting effective decision-making and risk management
* Manage end-to-end ER cases, ensuring timely, fair and consistent outcomes that reflect best practice and organisational values
* Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including Business HR, Trade Union and Employee Representatives, Occupational Health and external legal advisors, ensuring appropriate engagement throughout each case
* Influence and challenge managers constructively, supporting the development of their capability, confidence and knowledge in managing employee relations matters
* Contribute to continuous improvement of ER processes, standards and ways of working to enhance the overall quality and consistency of case management
Essential Skills:
* Significant experience in employee relations case management within complex, unionised or regulated environments
* Sound working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practice
* Proven experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end, including disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes
* Confidence coaching, influencing and constructively challenging managers at all levels
* Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced ER caseload
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or above desirable
The UK Case Coaching Team:
The UK Case Coaching Team provides expert coaching, advice and support to line managers, employees and their representatives across a broad range of employee relations matters.
This specialist role offers the opportunity to manage varied and complex ER casework, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance cases. You will work closely with HR colleagues and business leaders to deliver fair, consistent and commercially balanced outcomes, while building trusted partnerships across the organisation.
The role offers hybrid and flexible working, supporting a healthy work-life balance, with occasional travel for meetings and stakeholder engagement as required.
