Descripción del puesto:

Change the world of tomorrow with us.
Our Siemens business unit Motion Control (DI MC) is one of the world's leading providers of products, systems, solutions, and services in the field of Motion Control. This includes around 20,000 employees and the four business segments. With its global production sites, R&D, and service locations, MC is close to its customers and at home in a wide range of industries. At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics.
We are planning to expand our Oradea plant into an even larger, modern, and more powerful Siemens Mechatronic Competence Center! This isn't just an expansion; it is a true transformation. As part of this strategic business development, we will be building a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing area in Oradea. This new space will integrate critical parts of our production and associated support functions, creating a unified, high-performance hub for mechatronic expertise within Siemens.
Oradea will become one of Siemens' key competence centers, with new colleagues joining us, new technologies being implemented, and new capabilities strengthening our overall footprint.
Based in Oradea, we are looking for a Logistics Operations Lead to manage selected logistics activities on site.

This will be your impact:

* You lead, coach and develop the team of material buyers/planners, order managers and production planners, dispatch and warehouse. You supervise and control the process chain from order intake up to the supply to the customer.
* Coordinate the processing of the customer orders of our world-wide customers, including order entry, promised date compliance, order change, backlog management, coordination of material shipments, delivery, order expediting, and status/tracking of orders, always ensuring the highest possible forecast accuracy and on-time delivery, acting in case of any disruptions.
* Compare new forecast versions with actual order intake values to create a monthly turnover plan. You proactively run and analyze reports to determine orders to be released to meet revenue numbers and customer demand.
* You are responsible for production planning & levelling (volume, pieces/hours, product mix) to improve operational capacity/flexibility, reworking and prioritizing schedules for work centers that are over capacity to ensure that the production schedule aligns with OTD goals. This also includes work in process / intermediates.
* Oversee the raw material planning & ordering and the overall logistic supplier management for the new production site. Always with the focus on both on-time and in full material availability to satisfy customer demand at optimized inventory levels.
* You ensure for all materials ordered at the plants that optimal parameter settings are maintained, and you ensure that performance targets are achieved and take corrective action if needed: Forecast accuracy, on time delivery, inventory value, days on hand, inventory turn, on-time production supply, supplier forecast accuracy & quality & reliability etc.
* Logistic Supplier Management: You and your team regularly drive relevant suppliers' performance to excellence by measuring important metrics and conducting regular on-site performance reviews with your suppliers. Support process improvement on supplier's side to ensure high delivery reliability & quality and to reduce process costs e.g. by installing optimal procurement models (e.g. VMI, consignation), agreeing delivery schedules, installing returnable packaging cycles etc.
* You actively drive productivity by projects aiming for process improvement of the suppliers, the operative purchasing process and the order management process (LEAN) and by the introduction and implementation of new, digital solutions. Always aiming to steadily seek to remove manual system maintenance activities and always with a view on the End-to-End (E2E) optimum. Ideally you do so by using your knowledge obtained e.g. in new SAP S4 standards, RPA tools, AI solutions etc.
* Develop your supplier base by being involved from new supplier selection & introduction, change or material substitutions, working in a cross-functional team with technology, quality & strategical procurement to ensure a smooth, reliable supply at optimal cost and inventory levels.

This is how you'll win us over:

* Master's degree preferably in business administration, industrial engineering, or logistics.
* Minimum of 5-7 additional years of experience in operations Order Management & production planning as well as in Materials Planning and Execution and you possess a comprehensive understanding of the End-to-End (E2E) Supply chain and its interdependencies.
