Job Summary:

Function as a Medical Social Worker to provide bio-psychosocial assessment and intervention in management of patient care that meets standard of practice.

* Casework/Psychosocial Care

* Provide end-to-end case management support and appropriate level of care through assessment, care planning, interventions and evaluation of care

* Group work

* Assist in developing, conducting and facilitating group work sessions

* Community Work

* Assist in implementing new and/or existing community support systems which bring about enhanced psychosocial well-being of the community.

* Program Development and Implementation

* Provide educational/clinical supervision

* Provide guidance, training and co-supervision to interns and fresh MSWs in their standards of practice delivery.

* Deliver education to patients/public

* Engage in research

* To apply social work ethics and values

Job Requirements:

Education

* A recognised qualification in Social Work
