The Verification Consulting Team in Egypt is looking for a summer intern to work as a Digital Twin Intern.

The SSP is our formal internship programs at SIEMENS Software. You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!
The program is a 2 months summer internship in July/August 2026 (extended to 6 months internship for this role). There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.

Main Responsibilities:

* Pick one of a list of known opensource interconnects, then connect it to Hycon.
* Understand different options of the interconnect and how it is programmed.
* Select an IP to connect to this interconnect, and try to access this IP using a piece of SW that runs inside Hycon. For example, the NVDLA, or create our awn ALU and do the same thing with it.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

* 3rd or 4th year Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
* Experience with Verilog development.
* Experience with tools used to debug wave forms.
* Experience with C/C++ to write the SW the control the peripheral IP.
* Preferred: Experience with famous AMBA protocol like AXI/CHI.
* Team player and willing to collaborate within a team environment.
* Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
