Data Science Intern

What You Will Do:

* Improve forecasting models that relate to vehicle durability issues
* Enhance text classification models that categorize customer complaints
* Conduct ad hoc data analysis
* Collaborate with other departments/internal customers concerning data acquisition and analysis
* Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned

What You Will Bring to the Role:

* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, business analytics, economics, mathematics, statistics, or an engineering-related discipline
* Experience working with/performing data analysis and creating forecasting models
* Proficiency in SQL
* Experience in Python and/or R
* Familiarity with BI (business intelligence) tools
* Adept in Microsoft programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* A strong analytical mindset
* Excellent time management, self-management, and organization skills
* Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills
