Project Title

Planning Analytics and Insights Enablement

Project Description

The intern will support the Planning department in driving process improvements that enhance the timely visibility of key performance indicators (KPIs) and budget information, enabling more data driven decision making. The project focuses on strengthening analytical capability, streamlining workflows, and improving management reporting through automation and visualisation. The scope of work includes:

* Data Analysis and Insights Generation
* Collate, clean, and analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and gaps.
* Conduct exploratory analyses and validate findings to support evidence based planning and management decisions.
* Translate analytical outputs into clear insights for stakeholders.
* Automation and Visualisation
* Support the automation and streamlining of recurring planning and reporting processes.
* Develop data visualisations and dashboards to improve accessibility and interpretation of KPIs and budget information.
* Explore and implement simple technological solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

* Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. computer science, math, economics, statistics, finance)
* Experience in data visualisation products (eg. Tableau, Power BI or others)
* Ability to conduct data analysis and manage data
* Critical thinking and ability to synthesis complex information into clear insights
* Meticulous, organised, and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for reviewing processes and identifying improvement opportunities
* Experience in coding (such as Python) and statistical analysis, is a plus
