A Day in the Life
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience within the Specialty Therapies Operating Unit, covering Neurovascular, Neuromodulation & Pelvic Health, and Peripheral Vascular Health.
As an intern, you will work closely with field teams and cross-functional partners, supporting field operations, consignment stock management, and sales and marketing activities. You will also contribute to event coordination, documentation processes, and day-to-day field support.
Through direct collaboration with cross-functional teams, this role provides valuable exposure to medical device operations and helps develop strong organizational, communication, and operational skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Internship details:
* Start date: May 2026
* Location: Istanbul
* Duration: 6 months
* Working hours: full - time (40h/week)
* Work model: hybrid (3 days in the office)
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Support effective field consignment management by ensuring balanced stock levels across customer sites; identifying slow-moving inventory; prioritizing the usage of items approaching expiration dates; coordinating returns to the warehouse when required; assisting with Customer Service documentation; and supporting the conversion of consignment stock into invoiced sales.
* Provide support for Medtronic events such as congresses and workshops by assisting Sales and Marketing teams with planning, coordination, and on-site execution activities.
* Support DMO product registration processes by assisting with required product photography and collecting, organizing, and following up on necessary documentation in coordination with the field team.
* Provide support to the field team in managing signature and follow-up processes for proctor-related documentation.
* Support the field team during cases they attend by assisting with operational and sales-related processes.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* In the final year of studies recently graduated with bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical engineering or a related field
* Fluency in English and Turkish
* Good knowledge of MS Excel
* Eager to learn & develop
