Job Description:
In order to support Satair (100 % Airbus subsidiary) we are looking for a

Working Student (d/f/m) Operational Quality Management & Business Improvement Support

You are a full time student (d/f/m), looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Quality Business Improver (d/f/m)? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Quality Europe operational department as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!
* Location: Hamburg Finkenwerder & Wilhelmsburg
* Start: 15.06.2026
* Duration: 12 months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least EUR18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.
Are you looking to do more than just make the coffee? Do you want to actively shape the future of aviation? We aren't looking for "traditional" back-office support; we want a proactive "doer" to join us as a working student (d/f/m) and take our Quality Europe Department in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel to the next level.
Become part of the Quality Europe team and support our growth: you will drive the Airbus Operating System (AOS) forward, juggle KPIs, and build a valuable network within the Airbus world along the way. If you are eager to take on responsibility, challenge processes, shape governance with a new team, and get a real taste of the business world, then you've come to the right place. Bring your ideas and expertise, learn in a fantastic environment, and help ensure the world flies safely!

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location

Are you wondering how you actually get to us from university? Your internship is at Satair in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel. The journey from the University of Hamburg to us takes about 30 minutes by bike or about 40 minutes by bus and train.

Satair (a 100% subsidiary of Airbus) is offering first class material management solutions in the aftermarket business of the aviation industry. With our global functional organisation spanning across eleven different sites and locations worldwide, you will be part of a truly global family. Change is the only constant at Satair. The aviation industry is an ever changing - and fast moving environment.
That calls for someone special - someone like you!
Welcome to the Satair family!

Here is a selection of the advantages we offer our employees:

Your tasks and responsibilities

As part of the Quality Europe Department at Satair, you aren't just "support"-you will actively drive the professionalisation of our processes:
* Driving AOS Improvement: You will assist in the implementation and further development of the Airbus Operating System (AOS) within the department, bringing fresh impetus to our Lean methods.
* KPI Management & Analysis: You will help us keep an eye on performance, prepare key figures in coordination with management, and support the resolution of deviations.
* Business Management Support: Acting as the management's "right hand", you will prepare meetings, track action items, and independently manage sub-projects within the operational quality assurance environment.
* Networking: You will proactively seek interfaces with other departments to understand and improve processes holistically.

Desired skills and qualifications

You are currently an enrolled fulltime student (d/f/m) within Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable degree, and are eager to put theory into practice.
* Mindset: You don't wait for tasks; you find them. You have a "can-do" attitude and see yourself as an internal service provider.
* Knowledge: Initial experience with Quality Management, Lean Management, or process optimisation is a plus.
* Technical Skills: Proficient with Google Workspace (and MS Office, particularly spreadsheets and presentations); an affinity for data analysis and digital tools.
* Soft Skills:
* Strong communication skills and no hesitation in approaching people.
* A structured, reliable way of working-even when things get hectic.
* Digital Mindset: You challenge the status quo and love efficient solutions.
* Languages: Excellent written and spoken German and English.
