Description du poste:
APM Terminals
At APM Terminals, part of A.P. Moller-Maersk, a global leader in port and terminal operations, we enable global trade and drive sustainable growth. What drives us forward is a mindset of always improving - observing how work happens, identifying what creates value, and removing what gets in the way. We constantly look for smarter, simpler, and safer ways of operating. If you thrive in environments where people value learning and are committed to continuously improve daily operations, join us and be a part of our journey.
About the role:
We are looking for a Service Operations Technician to support daily IT and operational technology (OT) services at our terminal operations. You will work as part of a local and regional technology team, ensuring that end users and infrastructure systems operate reliably and efficiently. This role focuses on hands-on support, maintenance, and incident resolution across IT and OT environments, with exposure to a wide range of technologies including end-user devices, network infrastructure, and terminal-related systems. It offers an opportunity to build technical expertise while contributing directly to the continuity and performance of terminal operations.
What we offer
At APM Terminals, we foster a dynamic learning and training culture that empowers our employees to excel. Our commitment to improvement is driven by Lean principles, ensuring that every team member has the opportunity to develop their skills and advance their careers.
Experience a diverse, multinational workplace where your operational insights directly influence how we work.
* Work in a collaborative environment where local and regional teams partner to solve operational challenges
* Gain hands-on exposure to both IT and OT systems within a global logistics organization
* Develop practical technical skills through structured processes, on-the-job learning, and continuous improvement practices
* Contribute to operational excellence by supporting systems that enable critical port and terminal activities
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide end-user support for applications and devices, including terminal systems, office tools, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
* Maintain and support local IT infrastructure, including datacenter equipment, cabling, servers, and network components through hands-on interaction
* Support OT systems such as CCTV, OCR equipment, biometric devices, radio systems, and vehicle-mounted technologies
* Resolve incidents and service requests within defined service levels, escalating non-standard issues when required
* Install, configure, and replace IT and OT hardware devices as part of maintenance and upgrade activities
* Collaborate with regional IT teams to provide onsite support for incidents, changes, and infrastructure initiatives
* Participate in change management processes, including contributing to regional change advisory boards
Who we are looking for:
We recognize that experience comes in many forms. If you don't meet every qualification, we still encourage you to apply.
* Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement, who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day
* Demonstrate basic technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, end-user support, and operational systems
* Show ability to follow standardized procedures and work within defined guidelines
* Display problem-solving skills with the ability to identify when to escalate more complex issues
* Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both local stakeholders and regional teams
* Show willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and operational environments
* Bring a hands-on approach with attention to detail when working with hardware and infrastructure
