At the forefront of Europe's digital transformation, we are looking for an inspiring and Government Affairs Manager for EU, with a strong focus on the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and/or Finland who thrives in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment.

In this pivotal position, you will be joining forces behind our government affairs strategy in Brussels, supporting business growth and mitigating policy risk. You will champion the company's vision across the political and regulatory landscape - bridging innovation and governance in some of Europe's fastest growing technology markets. The Government Affairs Manager for EU Nordics and The Netherlands will be responsible for building and expanding SAP interaction with national and local government officials, regulators, partners, and any stakeholders relevant to delivering the government affairs objectives.

Your mission: promote SAP policy agenda in the EU and enable public sector cloud adoption and digital sovereignty adoption, promote responsible AI, deal with cybersecurity, and strengthen digital competitiveness in the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and/or Finland

Policy and Stakeholder Engagement in Nordics/Netherlands

* Shape and execute SAP government affairs strategy in the Netherlands and/or in Scandinavian national markets.

* Anticipate and identify policies and regulations that can impact the company, advocate for technology and industry-supportive policies and regulations.

* Influence key policy files regarding Digital, Financial and tax policies and advocate for public policy that supports the SAP business model, supporting growth and reducing political and regulatory risk

* Build trusted relationships with institutions, regulators, parliamentary bodies, and digital-industry coalitions

* Position our sovereign Cloud, AI, and software solutions at the center of national digital policies.

* Monitor politically influenced business risks and provide analyses to internal stakeholders for action.

* Position SAP as an innovation partner and technology leader through content development and targeted outreach to stakeholder groups.

* Grow, maintain, and leverage extensive government and stakeholder networks.

* Liaise with governments and relevant authorities in times of crisis

* Represent the company in high-stakes conversations on cloud security, data protection, AI regulation, and digital infrastructure.

* Provide SAP internal clients with expert content and guidance for reaching and influencing key audiences within the public sector and strategic decision-making.

Policy and Stakeholder Engagement in the EU

* Anticipate and identify policies and regulations that can impact the company, advocate for technology and industry-supportive policies and regulations.

* Influence key EU policy files regarding Digital, Financial or tax policies and advocate for public policy that supports the SAP business model, supporting growth and reducing political and regulatory risk

* Build trusted relationships with institutions, regulators, parliamentary bodies, and digital-industry coalitions

* Position our sovereign Cloud, AI, and software solutions at the center of national digital policies.

* Monitor politically influenced business risks and provide analyses to internal stakeholders for action.

* Position SAP as an innovation partner and technology leader through content development and targeted outreach to stakeholder groups.

* Grow, maintain, and leverage institutional and stakeholder networks.

* Represent the company in high-stakes conversations on Digital, financial and/or tax topics

* Provide SAP internal clients with expert content and guidance for reaching and influencing key audiences within the public sector and strategic decision-making.

Business Support

* Actively position SAP innovations and solutions in the public sector and key industries via engagement with stakeholders

* Anticipate political and social developments that create value for the brand and translate them into actionable opportunities for the business

* Support digital transformation agendas including cloud, sovereign cloud and AI adoption focused on the public sector by positioning SAP in agenda-setting phases. Advise internal organizations on properly navigating governmental structures and how policy may impact business units throughout the go-to-market cycles as well as via their business operations.

* Coordinate with relevant internal organizations to help shape, build, and executive effective development strategies within the public sector.

* Help mobilizing public funding for SAP business in the region.

What You Bring

* Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, law, political advisory, or regulatory strategy - preferably within the tech or cloud ecosystem and preferably in the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and/or Finland.

* Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and advocate effectively on behalf of large, complex organizations.

* Deep expertise in EU, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and/or Finland . political, regulatory, and digital-policy environment.

* Strong credibility with senior policymakers and industry leaders.

* Good political, analytical and communication skills, with high attention to detail.

* Ability to simplify complex issues, influence at the highest levels, and drive alignment across stakeholders.

* Passion for cloud innovation, digital transformation, and responsible technology.

* Fluency in English. Ability to speak in Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish would be a strong plus.
