About the role
As an HR Operations Analyst, you will support the Belgian market by delivering local HR operational and administrative activities that are not covered by global shared services or payroll teams. This is a newly created role, introduced to respond to increasing workload and evolving local requirements.
The role is dynamic and adapts to changes in legislation, systems, and HR processes. You will work at the intersection of HR Operations and local compliance, supporting country-specific needs while ensuring a consistent employee experience.
Your responsibilities
* Provide local HR operational support for the Belgian market, covering activities not included in the global shared service or payroll scope.
* Manage end-to-end administrative HR processes, including onboarding, contract documentation, employee data maintenance and offboarding support.
* Handle HR-related employee queries and ensure timely resolution of operational topics.
* Support payroll-related inputs where required, including absences, sick leave and time & attendance data.
* Ensure compliance with local legal, fiscal and labour requirements and adapt processes when regulations change.
* Identify and close operational gaps ("ticket gaps") between HR Operations and Payroll teams.
* Support the implementation and adjustment of local HR processes and systems.
* Collaborate closely with HR colleagues, payroll teams and local stakeholders.
* Adapt to evolving scope and priorities based on market needs and operational demands.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of HR operational processes.
The experience we're looking for
* Initial experience in HR Operations, HR Administration or a related administrative role.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven mindset.
* Interest in HR operations, local legislation and how systems and processes support the employee lifecycle.
* Willingness to learn, develop and grow within an HR Operations environment.
* Comfortable working in a role with evolving scope and changing priorities.
* Fluency in French and English, Dutch is a strong advantage.
