Overview
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day transportation execution by scheduling shipments, coordinating with customers and carriers, and providing real-time visibility through track and trace activities.
This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and communication skills to ensure accurate updates and high-quality service for Pepsi Logistics' customer base.
Responsibilities
Shipment Scheduling & Execution
* Schedule shipments through customer portals, email, and phone
* Enter and manage load details accurately in internal systems
* Coordinate with customers and carriers to confirm pickup and delivery details
* Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily shipping activities
Track & Trace
* Monitor shipments and track real-time freight and truck locations
* Proactively follow up on loads requiring updates or at risk of delay
* Provide accurate and timely status updates to customers and internal teams
* Escalate issues as needed to ensure service continuity
Customer & Carrier Communication
* Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day shipment communication
* Respond to customer and carrier inquiries via phone and email
* Maintain professional and timely communication to support service expectations
Data Accuracy & Systems Management
* Maintain accurate shipment data across systems and customer platforms
* Update load statuses, notes, and milestones consistently
* Support adherence to standard processes and documentation requirements
Operational Support
* Assist with issue resolution and exception management
* Support team in meeting daily service and performance goals
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps
Compensation and Benefits:
* The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,900 - $73,250.
* Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Required
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, systems entry)
Preferred
* Internship or experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service
* Familiarity with transportation systems or shipment tracking tools
