About this Position

To provide administrative support within an operations or supply chain environment, supporting stock control, inventory accuracy, and general departmental administration activities.

What you´ll do

Administrative & Inventory Support
·Support inventory control activities, including routine cycle counting.
·Review and address inventory variances and discrepancies.
·Process system exceptions and investigate negative stock balances.
·Assist with monthly inventory reviews, reports, and analysis.
·Conduct root-cause analysis of stock discrepancies and prepare regular reports.
·Liaise with internal departments such as Finance, Quality, Engineering, or Operations etc. as required.
·Create and maintain documentation related to inventory adjustments and scrap.
·Support bill of materials (BOM) reviews and audits where required.
Stock, Orders & Supplies
·Order and manage personal protective equipment (PPE) for the department.
·Order, receipt, and manage specified consumables and operational materials.
·Maintain appropriate stock levels of consumables and specialist supplies.

What makes you a good fit

·Relevant second-level qualification (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
·Completion of a relevant business, administration, or related course (minimum one year), or equivalent practical experience.
·Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
·Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of PC-based systems, including standard office software and enterprise systems.
·Familiarity with ERP systems (eg SAP) and warehouse or inventory management systems.
·Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
·Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
·Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
·Awareness of manual handling and chemical safety principles is desirable.
