Level Description
'Technician' Leveling Guide consists of jobs that accomplish work through a specialized knowledge or skills gained through a combination of vocational education, training, apprenticeship (craft, skilled and semi-skilled), and experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to manufacturing technician job profiles.

Market Summary
Tests raw, in-process and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Adheres to safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Maintains good housekeeping to ensure laboratory cleanliness. Documents results, analyze data, record keeping. Understands preservation of chain of custody. Tracks and reports chemical and supply inventories.

* Applies developing, but not fully functioning, technical knowledge, as well as equipment, systems, controls, procedures, and/or essential regulations for assigned work.
