Job Description:
The Project Management Associate (PMA) is responsible for overseeing OEM and Tier customer projects in Mexico and managing day-to-day operations for Connected Mobility Solutions. This role requires collaboration with customer technical teams, coordination of cross-functional engineering teams, and comprehensive knowledge of the complete product development lifecycle, including hardware, software, mechanical design, cybersecurity, product validation, and launch activities. The PMA will maintain complete program accountability for product success, ensuring timely delivery, optimal productivity, quality standards, cost management, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee OEM and Tier customer projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between customer technical teams and internal cross-functional engineering departments
* Coordinate and facilitate communication among hardware, software, mechanical, and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless product development
* Monitor product development across all phases, including design, validation, testing, and launch activities
* Maintain accountability for program success through tracking key performance indicators: delivery schedules, productivity metrics, quality standards, and cost management
* Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement
* Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and customer requirements
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring lessons learned are applied to the projects in development.
* Support in the preparation and submission of documents such as contracts, quotations, Processes Change Request (PCR), Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Part Submission Warrant (PSW / PPAP), customer audit activity.
Qualifications:
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field
* Fluent business-level proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
* Demonstrated project management experience with ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
* Strong organizational and planning skills with proven ability to prioritize, track progress, and manage deliverables to closure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team environments
* Strong quality mindset with demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization
* Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining compliance with organizational and customer requirements
**Desired Qualifications:**
* Experience managing OEM and Tier customer relationships
* Familiarity with automotive industry standards, including PPAP, ECR, and PCR processes
* Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across hardware, software, mechanical, and cybersecurity disciplines
