The Standard, Mexico City arrives in the historic Tabacalera neighborhood with character, color and a signature wink. The hotel will feature 206 rooms and suites, 27 branded residences and a leafy "secret" garden sure to become the city's favorite hideaway. Our debut in Latin America raises the aesthetic stakes, drawing from sun-washed CDMX architecture and a sensual, organic palette.
A bright café and late-night diner keep the ground floor lively from early mornings to the final nightcap. Above it all, a rooftop pool, signature restaurant and outdoor bar take in striking views of the Monumento a la Revolución. Each room and residence includes a private balcony, offering a front-row seat to the city.
We're looking for a Group Sales Manager who knows that the best business starts with great relationships. Someone who sees every inquiry as an opportunity to create something memorable and every partnership as the beginning of a story worth telling.

As our Group Sales Manager, you'll be the connector between The Standard and the people who want something a little less expected. You'll build genuine relationships, spot opportunities before everyone else does, and introduce clients to a hotel that's anything but ordinary.
You'll know when to pitch, when to listen, and when to let the experience sell itself.
What You'll Do
* Build relationships with corporate clients, agencies, planners, and partners who share our energy.
* Turn inquiries into experiences, managing group bookings from first conversation to signed agreement.
* Seek out new opportunities for meetings, events, productions, buyouts, and group stays that fit The Standard's spirit.
* Work closely with Events, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations to make sure every group arrives feeling expected-not processed.
* Represent The Standard wherever our community gathers, from industry events to networking nights and everything in between.
* Keep your pipeline moving, your accounts engaged, and your finger on what's happening in the market.
* Bring fresh ideas, unexpected partnerships, and creative thinking that help put The Standard on everyone's shortlist

What You Bring
* Experience selling group business within lifestyle or luxury hospitality.
* A natural ability to connect with people and build lasting relationships.
* Confidence managing negotiations, proposals, and contracts without losing the human touch.
* Curiosity about what's happening in the city, who's creating what's next, and where opportunities are emerging.
* Strong organization, commercial awareness, and an eye for detail.
* English and Spanish fluency.
* A collaborative mindset and the confidence to make things happen.
