Transfer Pricing Manager North Europe

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Developing and implementing transfer pricing strategies to optimize Bayer's tax position while ensuring compliance with international and local laws and supporting operational aspects

* Contributing to Bayer's global tax strategy by governing the intercompany financing policy and monitoring the execution of group guidelines and directives

* Analyzing and visualizing data to enable strategic decision making, supporting transfer pricing controversy and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP) and Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) procedures as well as public reporting deliverables (e.g. CbCR, OECD Pillar I)

* Identifying and assessing tax risks associated with business operations and transactions, providing recommendations for mitigation and supporting tax audits with strategic input, relevant data and documentation

* Participating in the global transfer pricing community and acting as a center of expertise for countries strengthening Bayer's transfer pricing governance

* Partnering with and guiding of business stakeholders by interpreting transfer pricing regulations, monitoring business model changes and its potential impact on Bayer

* Supporting the development and refinement of internal tools and processes for transfer pricing management

* Fostering transparency, learning and cross-functional collaboration to build team capability and resilience

Scope

Global with focus on North Europe cluster (hosting global holding and financing as well as several divisional principal activities for Pharmaceuticals and CropScience).

Key Working Relations

* Internal: Business, Central, Business Modelling, GBS, Country finance teams such as finance leads, accountants, finance specialist in the cluster, Enabling Functions teams in the country

* External: Relevant tax administrations in the countries, external tax consultants, auditor, consulting firms, and other companies tax managers

WHO YOU ARE

* Degree in tax economics / tax law and / or minimum of 5-year professional experience in transfer pricing or international corporate tax environment

* Excellent knowledge about international transfer pricing regulations and high degree of understanding of international tax rules

* Profound business understanding, creative mindset and high stakeholder management competences to accommodate a complex and divers business environment

* Excellent knowledge of English language

* Critical mindset, analytical, committed, pro-active, flexible

* High level of strategic communication skills, social competences and working across cultures

* Digital (AI) savviness and familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, KNIME)

* Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP), documentation platforms and OECD frameworks

* Good presentation as well as negotiations skills and assertiveness in a consensus-oriented environmen
