At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we produce powertrain systems that support the reduction of fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Our product range includes starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.

Responsibilities:
* You are responsible for the mechanical design of asynchronous and synchronous motors for electric vehicles, specifically passenger cars.
* You design and draft components for water- or oil-cooled motors as well as the connection technology to the inverter.
* Responsible for the definition and evaluation of mechanical concepts at the component level and participation at the assembly level.
* Analyzing specifications to define required performance criteria.
* Developing innovative and reliable solutions in accordance with technological specifications.
* Creation of mechanical specifications at the component level based on internal and external requirements.
* Designing 3D models (CATIA, NX) and preparing definition documentation for products, prototypes, and test fixtures.
* Preparing 2D drawings (CATIA, NX) along with functional dimensioning according to ISO standards.
* Conducting design activities in cooperation with internal and external contractors.
* Delegation and coordination of work packages to other locations and verification of results.
* Preparing technical documentation justifying the choice of specific concepts and solutions.
* Creating tolerance stack-up analyses and optimizing dimensioning.
* Support of project planning output and updates at the component level.
* Presenting product definition status during Design Reviews and Drawing Reviews.
* Managing product definition files in the PLM database and building BOM (Bill of Materials) structures.
* Participation and contribution to the D-FMEA. Alignment of special characteristics for drawings in coordination with the mechanical architect. Implementation of preventive measures within your parts.
* Definition of tests at the component level based on internal and external requirements.
* Evaluation of test results together with the test engineer and exchange of information with the project manager and architect.

Requirements:
* Higher technical education (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related).
* Experience in a similar position or in project work.
* Technical knowledge of the physical contexts of electrical machines is desirable.
* Knowledge of 3D modeling software.
* Experience working in project structures (project network) will be a strong asset.
* Engineering mindset and proficiency in technical drawing.
* Good knowledge of English.
* Teamwork skills and high organizational abilities.
* Proactive attitude focused on creative technical problem-solving.
