About this position

Bring your expertise. Drive demand excellence.
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Demand Planning Manager to drive a high-quality demand plan at cluster-SBU level for the ACB and ACC portfolio within Henkel Romania.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end demand planning process, ensure strong cross-functional alignment, and play a key role in the local S&OP process. Your work will directly impact forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory performance, and sustainable business growth.

What you´ll do:

* Own and manage the monthly demand planning cycle for the assigned clusters.
* Create and maintain a rolling demand plan with a minimum six-month horizon.
* Lead local Demand Review (DR) meetings and ensure alignment and sign-off from Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
* Collaborate closely with Sales Managers, KAMs, BDMs, PLMs, and Marketing to integrate market intelligence (promotions, product launches, customer gains/losses, market growth, projects) into the forecast.
* Update and enrich Statistical Forecast before submission to Supply Planning.
* Continuously improve forecast accuracy (FCA) and reduce BIAS through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Manage product lifecycle planning (new launches, successors, discontinuations) and ensure proper maintenance in planning systems (e.g., APO DP).
* Control demand volumes related to promotions, innovations, and exceptional business events.
* Ensure data cleansing and historical adjustments for assigned clusters.
* Support regional S&OP and Supply Review processes when required.
* Chair local S&OP meetings, prepare inputs (demand review / inventory / slow movers / shelf life) and actively participate in supply reviews and escalation meetings in order to ensure proper and timely goods availability.
* Validate and challenge commercial or supply proposals to ensure a realistic and high-quality demand plan.
* Monitor inventory, stock structure and slow movers to identify and prevent potential impact on the business.
* Monitor Service level development on Market and Top Customers levels, analyze biggest deviations from the target.
* Cooperate with Supply and Production Planning to assure goods availability in time.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Marketing and Controlling.
* Contribute to cross-functional initiatives such as complexity reduction, customer collaboration projects, and export planning coordination.

What makes you a good fit

* University degree in Supply Chain / Operations Management / Business Administration / Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Business Planning, or Supply Chain Planning, ideally in FMCG or a dynamic commercial environment.
* Strong understanding of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning processes.
* Proficiency in English (writing/reading/speaking).
* Advanced MS Office (Excel, Power Point).
* Work experience in operating systems (SAP - advantage).
* Demonstrated high analytical and logical thinking skills under time pressure.
* Demonstrated ability to present complex data to audiences at all levels.
* Good communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* Performance & optimization-oriented work attitude.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Some perks of joining Henkel:

* Diverse national and international development opportunities.
* Global wellbeing standards, including proactive prevention and healthcare programs.
* Gender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeks.
* Employee share plan with voluntary investments and additional matched contributions.
* Private accident and life insurance, as well as private health insurance.
* Bookster and meal vouchers.
* 65% coverage of the annual gym subscription (according to company policy).
* Working hours: 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday.
The position is fixed-term for 2 years.
