AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers. Job overview: We're looking for two Employee Relations Change Specialists to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract and partner with our change and transformation teams, embedding employee relations at the heart of organisational design and restructuring. Working closely with People Projects, Strategic People Partners, and transformation leads, you'll shape ER strategies early in change programmes, ensuring risks are managed, decisions are fair and compliant, and delivery is efficient. Key responsibilities: Partner with People Change and Strategic People Partners to embed employee relations into change initiatives from design to delivery, engaging key stakeholders within the People Team and the wider business. Provide expert guidance on high-risk ER matters, including restructuring, consultations, and union and employee forum engagement. Standardise ER approaches across change programmes, simplifying processes to enable efficient and scalable delivery. Use ER data and trends to inform decision-making and proactively address potential risks. Build confidence in leaders and HR partners to manage ER effectively during change, reinforcing clear ownership and accountability. Ensure consultation and implementation activities are well-structured, compliant, and aligned with business goals. Identify opportunities to streamline ER activities within change programmes through digital tools and automation. Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. This role will require frequent travel to our London office. Your skills & experience: Strong ER technical expertise, particularly in change, restructuring and consultation processes. Demonstrate experience working on small and large-scale transformation programmes. Previous experience working in financial services preferred. Ability to influence, challenge, and shape decisions at senior levels, balancing risk with commercial outcomes. Strong commercial acumen, aligning ER approaches with business priorities and outcomes. Able to build strong relationship across HR and business stakeholders. Data-driven mindset, comfortable using insights to inform decisions and drive proactive action.
