Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. Your Impact

Are you passionate about improving Project Controls and helping teams adopt new ways of working? Do you have experience in planning, scheduling or project controls, with knowledge of SAP, Dassian or Primavera P6? Are you looking for a role where you can improve project performance through systems, process improvement and user support?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning System Specialist within the Project Controls Office, supporting Project Controls transformation across UK Electronics. You'll work with Project Controls teams and system users to implement, support and improve planning tools and processes. You'll help deliver the Project Controls roadmap by embedding new capabilities that improve project performance, reporting and decision-making.

The role is a mixture of home-based and onsite working (within a UK-wide team, based from your local Leonardo site).

What you'll bring
* Support and improve Project Controls systems, including SAP, Primavera P6 and Dassian.
* Implement planning processes, standards and capabilities.
* Deliver training, coaching and user support.
* Advise project teams on planning systems and Project Controls best practice.
* Support reporting, governance and professional standards.
* Improve data quality, reporting and business performance.
* Help administer Project Controls systems.

What we need from you
You really must have:
* Experience in Project Planning or Controls, including planning, scheduling, reporting or performance management.
* Good understanding of Project Controls processes and systems.
* Experience delivering business change, process improvement or system implementation.
* Ability to train and support users.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Confidence to promote best practice and challenge existing ways of working.
* A proactive, customer-focused approach.

It would be nice if you had:
* Experience developing training materials.
* Experience in continuous improvement or business transformation.
* Understanding of project delivery, finance, commercial and resource management.
* Experience supporting system deployments.
* Knowledge of Project Controls governance and assurance.

This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
