Finance Intern

Finance Intern - Azerbaijan

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Duration: 12 months, part time - 0.5 FTE

Role Overview

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Finance Intern. The role involves assisting with financial tasks, performing data analysis, and supporting finance team members in day-to-day activities such as bank statements account reconciliation and maintaining financial records in accounting software or spreadsheets.

The role of a finance intern provides a wide range of opportunities for professional growth and practical experience, in financial Analysis, reporting and business operations, Problem-Solving & Adaptability

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in reconciling bank statements and account payable to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

* Participate in audits and compliance reviews as needed

* Provide administrative support to finance team members in organizing files, and handling correspondence with bank

* Support finance team members in ad-hoc projects

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange information and coordinate activities

Requirements

* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus).

* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in MS Office.

* Creative mindset with attention to detail.
