Role Description:
Our on-site CA team is seeking a highly motivated On-Site Construction Administration Intern specializing in Interior Design to join our team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry, specifically focusing on interior design projects. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, actively participating in various aspects of construction administration on-site.

Role Accountabilities:
As a Construction Intern with Interior Design, you will:
* Active Site Walks: Accompany senior staff on site walks to assess progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
* Field Report Generation: Compile detailed reports based on site visits, documenting observations, issues, and progress.
* Flagging and Coordination: Identify and flag any observed issues, coordinating between different parties (contractors, designers, project managers) to ensure prompt resolution.
* RFI Response: Assist in responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) by gathering necessary information and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders.
* Submittal Processing: Support the submittal process by reviewing documents, tracking approvals, and maintaining organized records.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Working knowledge of Revit and Microsoft Office suite.
* Basic understanding and ability to read construction documents.
* Minimum of four years of formal interior design education from a CIDA accredited university.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and external partners.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document and report on-site observations.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Self-motivated with a passion for interior design and construction.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $ $22.70 - $31.00 / hour. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
