Job Description

The Marketing Intern will assist the marketing department in its promotional efforts and provide creative ideas to achieve our goals. Their main duties include completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns, and preparing promotional materials and presentations.

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
* Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web).
* Help distribute marketing materials.
* Participate regularly in brainstorming sessions for the development of marketing campaigns and take detailed notes of meetings.
* Assist in the production of content for social media accounts.
* Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

* Must be currently enrolled at IUP
* Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
* Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
