Join Tesla's Finance team to drive insights that power the sustainable energy revolution. As a Finance Data Analyst Intern, you'll dive into financial and accounting data analysis while exploring AI for process optimization-balancing hands-on data tasks with innovative AI applications in accounting. Collaborate primarily with finance and IT stakeholders (including Data Engineering, Dev, and AI teams) in a fast-paced setting; we value curiosity over experience.

What You'll Do

* Gather, clean, and analyze financial data to support team needs in accounting and finance processes
* Assist in developing dashboards and data models using BI tools to optimize workflows and insights
* Perform ad-hoc analysis and support team on data modeling for finance applications
* Help identify opportunities for AI techniques into finance processes, explore tools and support proof of concept and integration
* Contribute to AI initiatives by testing agents and evaluating LLM use for automating financial queries and processes
* Communicate findings from data and AI projects to broader organizational stakeholders

What You'll Bring

* Pursuing a degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related STEM fields
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for independent and team work in dynamic environments
* Basic finance/accounting knowledge; eagerness to learn data and AI concepts
* SQL, Python, or BI tool experience (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus-we'll provide training
* Interest in AI for finance automation; experience with RAG, LLM, Langchain is highly valued for immediate contributions
