This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office 2 days work from home model.
As an Proposal Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be reporting directly to the Estimating Manager for the opportunity on which they are working. The Intern Bachelors Engineer's primary responsibility is to support local Estimating Team directly or indirectly in take offs, creating calculations and proposals, looking for solutions for the Customers via Sales Reps and/or Account Managers mainly with the use of Honeywell products, furthermore being in close cooperation with Engineering, Operations and Sourcing Teams and Subcontracting parties (Vendors/Suppliers/Installers/Designers).

Key Responsibilities
* Working closely with estimators supporting them with partial tasks to speed up the process
* Doing the take offs in case of new opportunities
* Taking part in internal negotiations with Sales/Estimation/Engineering/Operations/Sourcing Teams
* Being in contact and in negotiations with Subcontractors, Vendors
* Looking after technical details, solutions to be implemented into the proposals
* Working out solutions individually to be discussed and implemented into the solution as one team
* Ensure applicable local and industry codes and standards are upheld during the process

* Undergraduate studies in electrical engineering (preferable) and mechanical engineering are in progress.
* Willing to develop extensive product knowledge, understand, apply and work with latest Honeywell technology.
