Job Description
Intern Quality Assurance Validation
Job Summary:
Support the Quality Assurance team in equipment qualification and validation activities to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at Fisher Clinical Services.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with validation documentation for equipment and computerized systems (URS, FAT, SAT, Risk Analysis, IQ, OQ, PQ) in Secondary, primary packaging & manufacturing areas.
* Support the review and preparation of validation plans, reports, and templates under supervision.
* Help monitor qualification and validation activities on the floor to confirm systems remain in a validated state.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Facilities on documentation and data collection.
* Draft and update basic templates and checklists for validation and QA processes.
* Assist in reviewing SOPs, change requests, and deviations related to equipment (final approval by QA leads).
* Participate as an observer in client/regulatory audits and internal inspections; help with audit readiness tasks.
* Support environmental monitoring activities, including collecting data and drafting risk assessment notes for sampling locations.
Qualifications:
* Coursework or project experience related to the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
* Familiarity with GMP concepts and quality systems (classroom or lab exposure acceptable).
* Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
* Fluent in English; German is a plus.
* Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively; willingness to learn and take guidance.
* Experience with validation or lab equipment (academic or internship).
* Basic knowledge of Excel and document control systems.
* Interest in regulatory compliance and quality assurance careers.
