Test Engineering Graduate (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

As a Graduate Apprentice, you will embark on a structured learning and development pathway while contributing directly to our engineering goals:

* Design & Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across our tech stack under the guidance of senior mentors.
* Testing & Quality: Build and execute unit tests, debug software defects, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, QA, and DevOps, using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* System Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting, optimizing, and upgrading existing software applications and infrastructure.
* Continuous Learning: Actively participate in training sessions, technical workshops, and mentorship meetings to rapidly upscale your technical skills.

Technical Skills (Familiarity/Academic Experience)

* Programming: Foundational knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go).
* Core CS Concepts: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
* Databases: Basic familiarity with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
* Tools: Exposure to version control systems, preferably Git and GitHub/GitLab.

Soft Skills

* Growth Mindset: An insatiable curiosity and a strong desire to learn new technologies quickly.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems into logical, manageable steps.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical ideas clearly.

Educational Background

* Recent Graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related STEM field.
